Entrance after dark is prohibited in order to keep the cemetery a safe place to honor those laid to rest here.



Decoration Rules


From the first mowing in the spring to the last mowing in the fall, all flowers and decorations are required to be in the vase on the memorial with the exception of new interments.


At the first mowing the cemetery will remove all flowers and decorations that are on the ground.


No use of glass containers, wire, stakes, rocks, shepherd hooks, bricks, or anything else around the burial site that could injure maintenance workers or equipment when taking care of the grounds is allowed.


The cemetery is responsible for the beautification of all the spaces of interments.


Nothing can be planted or installed at or around interment site without permission from management.

Grave Marker Information


Only Flat Bronze on Granite Markers are allowed in the Gardens of Devotion, Gethsemane, and Serenity.


The Garden of Prayer allows both Flat and Upright Markers.


Grave markers can be purchased directly from Church Hill Memory Gardens.


If a grave marker is purchased from a source other than Church Hill Memory Gardens, the following applies:


 All installation of memorials will be performed by the cemetery, no exceptions.


All memorials are to be flat bronze and placed on granite or marble with a 2 inch border.


All veterans' memorials furnished by the government require the purchase of granite or marble for installation.


If memorial and granite are purchased from sources other than the cemetery, there will be a perpetual care, administrative fee, and installation charge per square inch of the granite or marble due and payable before installation.


If memorial is purchased from an outside source, the cemetery will not be responsible for the memorial or granite. The cemetery is responsible only for what it sells.


All memorials purchased from outside the cemetery will be installed within 30 working days after delivery to the cemetery or 30 days after installation fee has been paid.

Church Hill Memory Gardens Rules and Regulations


  •  A licensed funeral director will be on the premises at the time of interment.


  •  A vault, crypt or concrete liner will be required at the time of interment.


  •  The cemetery will be responsible for furnishing set-up at time of interment over cemetery crypts or vaults only.


  •  Vaults or outer containers purchased from outside the cemetery requires the set-up of the funeral home.


  •  CHMG tent and set-up over new interments is removed the day of the service.


  •  The cemetery is responsible for the opening and closing of all graves with no exceptions. Fees apply equally to all funeral homes.


  •  All free and pre-paid interment fees are honored Monday to Friday only. Weekends and holidays will be an additional fee.


  •  All weekend and holiday services are considered special services and require an additional fee.


  •  All interment services that reach the cemetery after 3:00 PM is considered to be after hours and requires an additional fee.


  •  All opening and closing fees are due in full before the gravesite is opened unless prior arrangements have been made with management.


  •  At the time of a service if a rock is hit, families will be given the option of changing their location or paying rock removal fees.


  •  All services require 24 hour notice before burial can take place.


  •  All flowers from new burials will be removed within 3 to 5 days of interment.


  •  All installation of memorials will be performed by the cemetery.

  •  Corner post granite or marble with bronze lettering is acceptable.


  •  All veterans' memorials furnished by the government require the purchase of granite or marble for installation.

  •  The cemetery is not responsible for flower arrangements that blow away due to weather conditions.


  •  We want all our property owners to enjoy the beauty of this cemetery. Therefore, we must insist that if you bring your pet, it must be kept on a leash and not be allowed to use the bathroom on the grounds. If such occurs, please have the courtesy to remove all waste.
