Carl Cecil "Paw-Paw" Harris

Carl C. Harris born on June 10, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia passed away suddenly at Johnson City Medical Center on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris and will be lovingly remembered by 4 daughters and sons-in-law, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Carl was known by all these names depending on when you first met him. He was good-natured and liked to cut up and joke around. Carl liked to share his growing up stories with his family and we all usually laughed unless we were shocked or surprised by his risky antics. The grandsons and daughters will remember the matchbox cars and candy he often had available when he was with them. And we'll always have fond memories of him playing his spoons whenever his kind of music was being played. Carl worked all his life as a jeweler and he and Doris even owned a small jewelry store before they retired. He did a wonderful job supporting his wife of 54 years, and more recently caring for Doris and the special needs she has at this season in her life. Doris meant the world to him and he truly adored her until the day God took him home to Heaven.

We will miss Carl Cecil Paw-Paw Harris and always have special memories of the time we shared with him.
